Week 7
My first Thanksgiving ever happened this week! It was fun! Aside from we didn't have classes, we had lots of foooood. And we did a fun service project! All the missionary! In the underground garage! We packed breakfast ingredients for Apple Pie Oats for people who may need them here in Utah. I forgot every details of it but it was a lot of fun! We packed almost...IDK! 400, 000 packs???? I know, so manyyyy. I mean we are like over 2000 missionaries here! FUN!( i must say it was my favorite part of the day but....we have a
Morning Devotional, Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf (he is funny sobra!)he gave a talk!!! After the devotional, he tried to shake hands with as much missionaries as he could! He went to the choir side! And guess what, I’m on the 2nd row and he shook hands with the 1st row! I should’ve sat there, we got there early and chose to sit in the 2nd row! AHHHH I should have extended my arms, we didn’t know an apostle will give the talk!( the best part is we are all crying coz he hug Elder kim, one of the elder in our district) But anyway, i saw him very close. It was a wonderful and special experience. Unforgettable! Just imagine how special it will be when we get to hug Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father after the work is done! (bangin nakita ni Raffy iton sa MTC)
This sunday i was called to be a speaker, i was spiritually prompted that I really need to prepare my talk, usually every saturday i never write for the specific topic for sunday (coz im hoping that they will not call me)but i just learn a lesson for that, whether you are not called just prepared yourself because your e a missionary. We have a devotional sunday with Pres. Martino and with his Wife they served as a couple missionary in Angeles Mission Phils. and now they are the provo mtc president.
I just love to be a missionary! (deri sya masayon pero aram KO at the end we are'll be rewarded..SALAMAT
P.S ..NEXT PAY DAY NALA AN IBA NA PICTURE HAHAA SORRY
LOVE,
SISTER BATILES
